I was fortunate to have the opportunity to illustrate Water Lines: A Life on Marshes, Rivers, Seas and in the Rain by Riverhorse Nakadate, published by Patagonia Books. The book inspired me from the moment I read the original manuscript with Riverhorse’s descriptions of places, food, fish and people important to his life. It was a dream to come up with images to further bring to life his storytelling and to collaborate with someone who has a shared passion for fishing and a life outside.

The project captured 13 landscape illustrations, 12 spot illustrations and the cover.
