REI F21 Swiftland Midlayers

REI Co-op Swiftland apparel is built for trail runners and inspired by our members who want to transform their running experience from a chore to something they look forward to. Our insights showed that weather and climate can be the strongest driver of what people need in order to get out there, whether running or hiking. For F21 I designed new midlayers for the collection that balance warmth, breathability, and comfort in motion. 40g insulation is sandwiched with a lightweight nylon ripstop shell, and quilted to the interior to prevent cold spots and improve water repellency. Targeted insulation at the core and upper body is pieced with a hard-faced, grid-back fleece to increase mobility and moisture management.
